Informatics for Development was founded in 1998 by Mr. Mauricio Mathov (see Glossary) to provide ICT consulting services in development-related projects.

Over 40 years of professional experience in the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), mostly in developing countries, both on ICT projects and ICT marketing.  Participated successfully in more than 100 development-related ICT projects.  Deep knowledge of the rules and procedures of international lending institutions, particularly those related to the procurement of hardware, software, communications equipment and consulting services.
